There has been a voluntary recall of some Taste of the Wild, Natural Balance, Canidae and Wellness (large puppy only) dry dog foods made at Diamond Pet Food’s plant in Gaston, S.C. The reason was possible salmonella contamination.

None of the recalled bags were known to contain salmonella, but were being recalled out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, none were distributed in our state, and we have checked that the bags on our shelves are not part of the recall. We will continue to monitor the situation closely.
